Dante is a playable newcomer in the All-Star Battlemania 2. Dante uses the moves from the Devil May Cry series. He has a mixture of all the styles from the games.

He is voiced by Reuben Langdon.

Information

Dante is the main protagonist of the Devil May Cry games, and the second son of the demon Sparda and the human Eva. Born half demon, half human. Dante is known as a Devil Hunter to exterminate evil demons for vengeance of his dead mother. During his vengeance, he opens up a shop, later becoming Devil May Cry, then renaming to Devil Never Cry, then it renames back into Devil May Cry.

Dante has fought against his brother Vergil over their mother's amulets. They both have fought Arkham, therefore leaving a brotherly clash.

Gameplay

Dante uses moves similar to the Devil May Cry series. One of his moves uses one move from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Neutral Special: Ebony & Ivory

This move uses Dante's two favorite guns, as he will shoot in two ways

Side Special: Cerberus

Dante will use these to slash through his opponents, they're like nunchucks. Although Dante moves slowly.

Up Special: Beowulf Uppercut

Mostly in battle, Dante uses his Beowulf gauntlets and boots, this move will make him do an uppercut.

Down Special: Rebellion Swing

Dante will swing around his sword and land on the ground.

Finalmania: Devil Trigger

Dante will transform into his Devil Trigger form as he will strike up to his opponents with a big aura.

Trivia

  • Dante is the fifth newcomer in All-Star Battlemania 2.
  • Dante is rated at A- tier on the unoffical tier list due to his long melee range, strong projectiles and great specials. He can be punished easily on his neutral and side-special though.
